Pengaruh sihir memang ada! Rasulullah Shallallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam sendiri pernah terkena pengaruh sihir. Dalam riwayat al-Bukhari dan Muslim disebutkan bahwa Rasulullah pernah disihir oleh seorang Yahudi bernama Labid bin Al-A'sham! Namun jangan panik , allah telah menurunkan doa perlindunganyaitu surat Al-Falaq.
Seorang K.H. Dja’far Sabran dikenal sebagai tokoh ulama Masyhur di Kalimantan Timur. Beliau merupakan pendakwah yang memiliki pengetahuan dan wawasan yang luas, beliau memiliki pengetahuan yang luas baik dalam bidang agama maupun dunia. Banyak pemikiran beliau mengenai konsep kehidupan baik mengenai ibadah maupun akhlak yang beliau sampaikan melalui kegiatan pengajian rutin secara lisan maupun tulisan beliau di dalam kitab-kitabnya. Beliau juga banyak mengemukakan pemikiran beliau mengenai akhlak atau adab terpuji, salah satunya adalah tawakal. Menurut beliau tawakal merupakan adab seorang hamba yang menyikapi seluruh urusan kehidupan dengan melakukan usaha/ikhtiar dengan cara yang ma’ruf dan sesuai kemampuan kemudian menyerahkan seluruh urusan kehidupan tersebut hanya kepada Allah, merasa semuanya dari Allah dan karena Allah, sehingga semua yang terjadi pada dirinya diyakini mengandung hikmah.

Di antara keistimewaan Al-Qur’an sebagai mukjizat terbesar Allah swt kepada Nabi Muhammad Sa, yakni rangkaian satu-kesatuan yang bersifat utuh dan menyeluruh (jami’-mani’; intact-comprehensive) serta kekhasan masing-masing surat-suratnya. Termasuk surah Al-Mâ’idah [5] yang memiliki sejumlah kelebihan (fadha’il). Salah satunya berkenaan dengan khitab (arah pembicaraan) dan khitahnya yang lebih spesifik ditujukan kepada orang-orang beriman. Mulai dari tuntunan hubungan vertikal manusia dengan Allah swtdan hubungan horizontal dengan sesama manusia, hingga hubungan lingkungan alam sekitar bahkan semesta. Tidak hanya tentang hukum keluarga dengan segala aspeknya, akan tetapi juga ihwal hukum muamalah yang benar-benar lengkap dan sempurna. Semuanya ada landasan hukumnya di dalam surah Al-Mâ’idah. “Serial Tafsir Al-Amîn Bedah Surah Al-Mâ’idah” yang berada di tangan pembaca menyuguhkan penjelasan surah Al-Mâ’idah (bagian pertama) ini dengan gayanya yang khas menggunakan pendekatan metode tafsir dialogis (tafsir mukalamah). Bagaimana persisnya, mari kita baca buku ini dengan saksama. Kiranya dapat memberikan pencerahan. Aamiin, semoga!
ABSTRAK “…Syekh Nawawi al-Bantani seorang ulama multi disiplin. Ratusan judul karya yang telah beliau tulis dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu lebih dari cukup membuktikan itu. Bukti tidak terbantahkan lainnya, dan ini lebih dari cukup, bahwa beliau digelari oleh para ulama kota Mekah dan Madinah saat itu sebagai Sayyid ‘Ulamâ’ al-Hijâz. Tidak terkecuali dengan tasawuf, Syekh Nawawi al-Bantani disamping telah menulis beberapa karya dalam bidang ilmu ini, beliau juga adalah seorang praktisi di dalamnya, maka itu beliau adalah sosok yang komprehensif dalam menerjemahkan ilmu-ilmu dalam ajaran Islam sekaigus nilai-nilainya, atau dengan istilah lain al-Jâmi’ Bayn al-‘Ilm Wa al-‘Amal. Salah satu karya fenomenal Syekh Nawawi dalam ilmu tasawuf adalah Salâlim al-Fudlalâ’ Syarh Manzhûmah Hidâyah al-Adzkiyâ’. Hampir keseluruhan apa yang telah dituliskan oleh al-Sarraj dalam al-Luma’ terkait berbagai definisi ajaran-ajaran tasawuf telah terangkum dalam kitab Salâlim al-Fudlalâ’ ini. Karya beliau lainnya yang juga populer, bahkan dipelajari oleh hampir seluruh pondok pesantren di Indonesia, adalah Nashâ-ih al-‘Ibâd Syarh al-Munabbihât ‘Alâ al-Isti’dâd li Yawm al-Ma’âd. Sebuah karya yang benar-benar birisi tasawuf murni yang bertujuan memperbaiki akhlak (Ishlah Ahwal al-Qulub), baik akhlak kepada Allah, rasul-Nya, maupun kepada sesama. Salah satu karya agung Syekh Nawawi lainnya adalah dalam bidang tafsir, yaitu Marâh Labîd yang juga dikenal dengan Tafsir al-Nawawi atau al-Tafsir al-Munir Li Ma’alim al-Tanzil. Melihat kepada tema besar ditulisnya kitab ini, juga melihat kepada referensi beliau dalam menyusun kitab ini; yang terutamanya yaitu hâsyiyah Tafsîr al-Jalâlayn atau Tafsîr al-Jamal, Mafãtih Al-Ghaib, Tafsîr Abî al-Su’ûd, dan Tafsîr al-Sirâj al-Munîr karya Syams al-Din ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Syarbini, jelas tafsir Marâh Labîd adalah kitab tafsir yang bertujuan untuk mengungkap kandungan-kandungan al-Qur’an, bukan sebagai kitab murni tasawuf. Namun demikian dalam makalah ini akan kita kaji adakah kemungkinan ajaran-ajaran tasawuf dituangkan di dalam kitab tafsir Marâh Labîd? Adakah korelasi catatan Syekh Nawawi dalam Salâlim al-Fudlalâ’ dengan tafsir Marâh Labîd? Hasil analisa ini diharapkan dapat menyimpulkan adakah tafsir Marâh Labîd sebagai kitab tafsir bercorak sufisme atau tidak…”

The essays collected in this book deal with the question how, throughout the history of Christianity, Christian communities have tried to construct their identity by anchoring their views in authoritative and normative sources. The main focus is upon the problem of historical foundation through textual traditions but other authoritative sources ( role of religious leaders; ritual traditions) are taken into consideration as well. The book takes as its point of departure the fact that with the rise of modernity the former dependence of western church and society on authoritative sources was called into question. Ever since, appeal to such sources is no longer self-evident; at times it is even regarded as problematic. Based on this radical change brought about by modernity, the book is divided in two main parts. The first part deals with the question how Christian churches and confessions ( Roman-Catholic and Protestant) confronted modernity and which role was played by authoritative sources in the tradition to the modern era. Special attention will be paid to the way in which Judaism reacted to many of the same impulses, both societal and religious ones. The second part deals with the premodern period, from early Christianity to the post-Reformation era, and focuses on the role authoritative traditions, textual or otherwise, have played in providing various Christian communities with a relative stable identity. The aim of the book is to elucidate processes resulting in the formation of authoritative traditions as well as the effects of these traditions on the identity of Christian and Jewish communities. Religious imaginary is a way of conceiving and structuring the world within the conceptual and imaginative traditions of the religious. Using religious imaginary as a reference, this book analyses temporal ideologies and expressions of historicity in South Asia in the early modern, pre-colonial and early colonial period. Chapters explore the multiple understandings of time and the past that informed the historical imagination in various kinds of literary representations, including historiographical and literary texts, hagiography, and religious canonical literature.
